About Render Token

The Render Network, or RNDR, is a unique peer-to-peer GPU marketplace that leverages the power of blockchain technology. It allows users to contribute their computational power towards 3D rendering projects and earn RNDR tokens, a form of cryptocurrency, in return.

Why Render Network?

RNDR addresses three significant challenges within the industry: scalability, optionality, and IP protection. It offers a scalable GPU rendering network that can meet user demands efficiently. Users have more options, whether they are commissioning a job or farming out their excess GPU power. Furthermore, it ensures creators' rights are protected through its blockchain-enabled record-keeping and encryption system.

Render Network Governance

The Render Network operates on the Ethereum blockchain and uses OctaneRender for 3D rendering work. Its governance system, known as Proof-of-Render (PoR), relies on both automated and manual inputs to determine user reputation scores, which influence job allocation and service quality.

 Render Network Automated Marketplace

The Render Network functions as an automated marketplace where content creators can upload GPU-based rendering tasks to be completed by decentralized GPU service providers within the network. All transactions within this network are denominated in RNDR tokens.

RNDR Tokenomics 

The total supply of RNDR tokens is capped at 536,870,912, with 25% sold to the public during its initial release in October 2017. An additional 10% was allocated to the RNDR Reserve, while the remaining 65% was held in escrow to help modulate supply and demand flow within the network.
